George VI’s coronation brought Britain together via a BBC radio broadcast.
Jed learned to hum the anthem, then replaced the lyrics with ones about jam. He disrupted an entire street party. The vicar fell into a trifle. Jed was banned from leading grace for the next decade.

Well what did happen on the 8th of February is a bonny baby sister Mary was born and Jed would ever more have to share his world with her.
