The winter of 1947 was one of the coldest on record in the UK, with widespread snow and fuel shortages.

Jed offered ‘warmth visualisation classes’ in exchange for coal. He just drew pictures of radiators. One lady swore it worked. Jed called it art therapy. Others were not so sure.
