The Last Reel
Jed directed his final ad — a poetic montage for a watch company airing on French TV.
It featured a snail, a cello, and a slowly melting clock. The client said it was 'too philosophical'. Jed didn’t change a thing. The ad ran once, during late-night jazz. He considered it perfect.
Mmm... did that actually happen?

1989 what a big year... The Berlin wall came down, Jed and Ruth moved to Devon, UK and their daughter (me!!) got married. We celebrated with family and friends from all over the world, it was fabulous and at The Groucho Club because Jed was a founding member and so we had that great luck and privilege to have the whole run of the place. Jed "gave me away" to Billy Clark of Aberdeen, Scotland on 16 September. Thank you Dad ;)
