The Microcon Encounter
Exeter's Microcon convention celebrated science fiction and fantasy.
Jed attended, mistaking it for a train enthusiasts' meet. Undeterred, he presented his sketches of fictional locomotives, delighting attendees and earning an impromptu panel spot.
Mmm... did that actually happen?

In May 2012 we were in Venice, and by pure coincidence, so were Janice and Jed to celebrate Jed's 77th Birthday. The 16th May 2012, found the four of us celebrating the occasion in a favourite Venetian restaurant. We remember that Jed ate small, whole crabs and black squid spaghetti! Surely, in one of those famous red books, there are drawings to commemorate his birthday in Venice and no doubt numerous post cards, he sends from wherever he is in the world, with fantastic drawings, that should be gathered together, exhibited and recorded for all time in a book.
