A local gallery held a retrospective of Jed’s landscapes and protest sketches.
He arrived late, wearing two scarves and claiming to be ‘incognito’. Someone offered him an Otter. He left with three new commissions and a cheese knife engraved ‘legend of Budleigh’.
Mmm... did that actually happen?

On the Budleigh Film Society's film selection committee Jed is our film buff extraordinaire.
He is a fountain of film knowledge (silent, B&W, colour, todo...) bubbling over with suggestions of 'must see' films, which are usually quirky, completely off the wall but loved by Jed. But he convinces to see them sometimes. How could you not be persuaded by his convivial nature!
We find that we are not always talking about the same film under review at our meetings but we eventually steer him back in line.
